Greener Homes Grant

Solare, $5000.00 Solar grants, incentives

The Government of Canada:

Launched the Canada Greener Homes initiative in May 2021 to help Canadians make energy-efficient upgrades to their homes, fight climate change and create good jobs — all while helping homeowners save on their monthly energy bills. The grant provides up to $5000.00 towards your energy efficiency upgrade, including solar PV systems

Energy Audits

Energuy:

Solaré has teamed up with Energuy for energy auditing. By putting you in contact to get your assessment on its way. An Energuy home energy assessment provides an extensive report about home improvement projects to enhance energy efficiency, lower utility bills, and increase comfort of your home. The greener homes grant provides $600 towards this and by booking through Solaré Canada you also get a further discount on this audit. The energy assessment is required to access the grants from the Canada Greener Homes program.

Agricultural Clean Technology Program

Who is eligible:

Eligible applicants are:

  • for-profit organizations, including farm businesses and agri-food processors

  • not-for-profit organizations, including co-operatives

  • individuals, sole proprietors

  • Indigenous groups

EQUS Solar PV Micro-Generation Financing & Incentives

Offering Grant Funding for:

  • Financing – Solar PV unit installation – $1,500/kW up to $15,000.

  • Incentive – $0.10/W of solar PV installed up to $500 (5 kW).

City of Edmonton:

The City of Edmonton is pleased to offer an incentive for homeowners to put a solar energy system on their roof.

The Edmonton incentive only applies to residential properties, not industrial or commercial properties.
